Holly Jackson has done it again!

Last year I read her first book, "Good Girls Guide to Murder" and it set me on a quest to read more and more true crime or murder mystery novels. Out of the few, I read so far, her book is by far the best.

So a little recap of what Good Girl, Bad Blood is about. The second installment follows the main character Pip as she continues to create her podcast based on her finding the truth of what really happened to Adie Bell and Sal Singh. Now a friend of hers approaches her stating that his brother is missing.

Pip promises herself that she would not get caught up like she did last time and refuses. After a while, she agrees to help find her friend's missing brother.

I am keeping most of my review vague because I try my best to not give out any spoilers.

Things I liked: I loved the internal and external conflict with Pip. The obsession of trying to find the truth and the revelations of when she is on the right track. I also love how the author not only shows how Pip is handling her emotions but giving an inside look at what is going on in her mind. Especially at the end with the survivor's guilt. She has a great way of describing rather than telling.

Things I didn't like: WHERE IS CHARLIE?! There is a cliffhanger and I NEED ANSWERS!!!

There is hope though. Jackson has a third book coming out called "As Good as Dead" and hopefully that gives me the answers I seek.

Overall score: 5/5
